CHROMOPHARE® LED – The new way to illuminate the OR

The LED (light emitting diode) is increasingly gaining significance, even in the realm of surgical lamps. The reasons are obvious: the infra-red-free, and thus cooler, light provides for good work conditions for the surgeon and reduces the drying out of tissues to a minimum. The nearly unlimited life cycle decreases maintenance costs and ensures reliable work.

Die CHROMOPHARE® LED lights are characterised by an illumination intensity of up to 160,000 Lux and a light field diameter of up to 29 cm. BERCHTOLD completes its series of OR field lamps with the introduction of the LED series of lamps, and thus offers a broad spectrum for every need and user preference.
