CHROMOPHARE® BRITe^TM – For every field of application

BRITe^TM stands for BERCHTOLD Reflective Illumination Technology, a halogen technology that reflects unwanted, warm IR radiation directly back to the filament. The heat is "recycled" by heating the filament further. This allows additional beams of light to be emitted, with only the cooler, visible ones exiting the lighting system.

CHROMOPHARE® lights thus have up to 50% greater intensity, but with the same energy consumption and light head temperature. This quantum leap in modern OR light technology becomes especially apparent in surgical fields that are large and deep. Under these conditions, BRITe^TM technology reaches its full potential. As a result, CHROMOPHARE® lights provide intensity of up to 160,000 Lux and light field diameters of up to 32 cm.
