"A little better every day"

Tuttlingen, December 2011 At the anniversary celebrations for BERCHTOLD, the medical technology company in Tuttlingen, owner Theo Fritz and Managing Director Stephan Sagolla honoured 28 long-standing employees. Following speeches by Michael Guse, Head of Economic Development for the Tuttlingen administrative district, and Emil Buschle, Mayor of the City of Tuttlingen, two employees who have worked at BERCHTOLD for 25 years were honoured. 16 employees received an award for ten years of service with the company, and eight celebrated five years. In their speeches of appreciation, Sagolla and Fritz also emphasised the achievements of Werner Geyer and Bernd Adomeit, who are retiring. Werner Geyer completed a remarkable record of 41 years with BERCHTOLD, Bernd Adomeit can be proud of 36 years of service. "Throughout their many years of service, our employees have overcome considerable challenges", said Sagolla with sincere appreciation. "They actively contributed to the continuing development of the company, and every day they tried to work a little better than the day before.“ BERCHTOLD employs more than 400 workers globally and produces surgical lights, OR tables, ceiling supply units, and telemedicine products.
