Barcelona, Tuttlingen, February 1st 2010 - The companies Antonio Matachana S.A – hereinafter MATACHANA - and BERCHTOLD GmbH & Co. KG – hereinafter BERCHTOLD - have signed a strategic agreement of cooperation where the company Matachana comes to represent the interests of the German company exclusively for the Spanish Health market.

With this partnership, the Spanish multinational reinforces its presence and performance in the field of Operating Rooms, incorporating to its present  Sales and Technical Service organization the wide product range of BERCHTOLD: surgical lights, surgical tables and ceiling pendants (columns for UCI, anaesthesia and surgery), as well as integrated/intelligent surgical rooms.
Until now, BERCHTOLD was established as branch/subsidiary in Spain since the 2001, with an implantation base and very important references in the Spanish hospital field.
